Consideration of Ordinance O-07-2024, amending Chapter 6 - Buildings and Building Regulation, to coordinate with the Palm Beach County adopted Florida Building Code and Amendments, to update the date of the Flood Insurance Study and Flood Insurance Rate Maps and to specify elevation of manufactured homes in Special Flood Hazard Areas. Remarks: First Reading

 

b.

Consideration of Resolution No. R-13-2024 in support of a Collaborative Process for Developing and Creating a Countywide Transportation Plan.

QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARINGS:

 

a.

Consideration of Special Exception request, pursuant to Section 23-96(d)6 of the Town of Lantana Code of Ordinances, to allow for a Service Station at the property located at 1500 W Lantana Rd in the C1 – Commercial Zoning District (Case #: SE24-0003). Remarks: Companion Item 7b.

 

b.

Consideration of a variance from Section 23-96(f) of the Town Code of Ordinances to allow a minimum zero (0) foot front setback, where a minimum 20 foot setback is required, and to allow for a minimum rear setback of five (5) feet where a minimum ten (10) foot setback is required, for the property located at 1500 W Lantana Rd (Case #: VAR24-0007). Remarks: Companion Item 7a.

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

a.

Consideration of awarding a contract for ground maintenance services to DEH Kingdom Management, Inc. in the amount of $175,195.

 

b.

Consideration of approval of a Development Agreement and Utility Easement Agreement with GTY Auto Service, LLC (Getty), a Utility Work Agreement with FDOT, and CSA 2024-08 with Baxter & Woodman, Inc., all of which are related to the Town's Water Main, Lift Station, and Lift Station Control Panel.

PROCEDURES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Any citizen is entitled to be heard on an official agenda item when the Town Council calls for public comment OR any matter not on the agenda under the “Public Comments” section. Citizens desiring to address the Town Council shall step up to the microphone at the podium, state their name and address in an audible voice for the record, and, unless the Chair grants additional time, shall limit their address to three (3) minutes. Citizens who wish to address the Council MUST complete a blue public comment card and present it to the Town Clerk before the item is discussed and wait for the Mayor to announce when it is their turn to speak. Likewise, if the public wishes to speak on a matter on the consent agenda, they must complete a blue card and present it to the Town Clerk before the start of the meeting.
